Lost and Found
So Monday afternoon I went out to the car and a little bitty dog came up and nuzzled my leg. I picked him and looked for tags. There weren't any. I didn't know what to do with him so I took him in the house. I couldn't very well leave him in the street. I called animal services and filed a report. I took him to the vet and he didn't have a chip. So I finally broke down and bought him a leash, a dish, and a couple of toys. K took Ozzie for a walk tonight and was being stared at by some lady down the street. The next thing I know there's kids running everywhere outside. K came home and a lady came to our door. She asked if we had found a dog. So we had to give him back to his family. She had a daughter in the car who was bawling her eyes out when she saw we had her dog. They thanked us for taking care of him and hugged K and everything. And even though he wasn't house trained I miss the little guy. Anybody got a dog they don't want? We might be willing to take it in. Alth0ugh with a 16 month old and a baby on the way maybe we don't need a dog right now anyways. I still miss him though.

Dogs are the best! Maybe after the baby is sleeping through the nights you can get one. It takes awhile to get them trained! Sorry you had to give that one back... However, it is probably easier that you did for now. (((hugs)))
Speaking as a dog owner (of the most pampered dog you will ever meet), trust me when I say you do NOT want to getting a dog right now. Two kids (babies!!) are enough to deal with.
Wait till they turn 18 and leave for college. :)
