How I love being his mommy!
Not to long ago K and I bought a bed set for Koco. We kept putting off putting it together though because we we're afraid to let his sleep in it. But once we started Koco was all for helping put it together. He's such a smart boy.

My baby seems so big now that he has his big boy bed. Things are not going so well with it because he keeps falling out of it but we're working on it.
It came as a set and this is the table and chair

And this is the finished product. Every night I go in and check on him before I go up to bed he looks so precious and I want so badly to take a picture of him. But I don't for fear of waking him because once he's awake he can be out of that bed in about 1.5 seconds flat and he won't go back. We have some adjustments to make but we're getting there. I never thought I would be using the monitor again especially this time around. I would even prefer to get one with the camera so that I can check on him without opening the door to his room which is almost sure to wake him up. No matter how annoyed I am at the challenges this new bed and new baby brings I wouldn't give up being his mommy to save my life.

He is so cute in his big boy bed! What about the little rails that slip under the corner of the mattress? My sister had to have one of those until she was about 5. She use to fall out all the time.
Wow, I'm impressed! He looks like such a little man! Congrats on the good news. Two little guys in the house guarantees there will never be a dull moment.
That bed is really something else. I think it'll be a while before J graduates to a big boy bed. He's so little, I think his crib will be fine for some time. PS, those video monitors are pretty cool. We got one and it's kind of amusing watching the little guy on it.

I guess the picture doesn't show it very well but there are rails on it. They only go 3/4ths the length of the bed. He manages to squeeze himself out the end. We have converted back to the crib as mommy and Koco weren't getting much sleep but we will try again after we get some rest. 18 months is just too early to give up your afternoon nap!
What a little man! My firend has a raceare bed and it sets inside the frame so it's like a rail aroudn the whoel thing but he manages to fall out sometimes too. It will take time and patience :0)
Congrats on the news!
