Mommy got a job!

I had to go back to work to offset the extra expenses of having another baby while K works out this new job. It's also just an expensive time of year with christmas and all. I have been looking not to hard but I had some lines in the water. Well I got one pending a drug test. And unless prenatals are an illegal drug I'll pass that. It will be third shift but I'll do what I have to do right now because we need the money. Hopefully it won't be an adjustment for Koco. I think he's had about enough change right now.

How I love being his mommy!

Not to long ago K and I bought a bed set for Koco. We kept putting off putting it together though because we we're afraid to let his sleep in it. But once we started Koco was all for helping put it together. He's such a smart boy.

My baby seems so big now that he has his big boy bed. Things are not going so well with it because he keeps falling out of it but we're working on it.

It came as a set and this is the table and chair

And this is the finished product. Every night I go in and check on him before I go up to bed he looks so precious and I want so badly to take a picture of him. But I don't for fear of waking him because once he's awake he can be out of that bed in about 1.5 seconds flat and he won't go back. We have some adjustments to make but we're getting there. I never thought I would be using the monitor again especially this time around. I would even prefer to get one with the camera so that I can check on him without opening the door to his room which is almost sure to wake him up. No matter how annoyed I am at the challenges this new bed and new baby brings I wouldn't give up being his mommy to save my life.

Out of the loop

Okay I got left out but I won't be mad about it. Brina came home today. I got to hold her and my god is she tiny. I was afraid to even kiss her for fear my mouth would cover her whole face. I'm also afraid to give her any of my germs. Just wanted to let you all know what was up. See ya.

Daddy's Boys!!!!

Last night K couldn't stop talking about it, his two sons. In case you haven't realized it's another boy. He was so excited because his boys were going to play football together. It's hard to keep him in check. I'm not going to be the type of parent who forces their kids into doing something, so we'll see. This is the one and only time that I will reveal my childrens names. Koco is really named Koleman Andrew and his daddy's name starts with K so that's why we call him K. Now the new baby will more than likely be Kaleb Steven. So what are we going to call him to differentiate him from the rest? Also Baby Sabrina may be coming home this week. She is off oxygen and the feeding tube. They need to do some tolerance tests and feed her with a bottle and then she will be home. Yeah!

Anxiously waiting!

My appointment in Monday and I can't take it anymore. I'm tired of waiting to find out if Koco is going to have a brother or sister. But since the doctor's office is closed over the weekend I'll have to wait until Monday. I've been taking bets and so far the consensus is a girl. The ring test and chinese birth chart both say boy as do I. My mom, both sisters, my brother, both sister-in-laws and K all think it's a girl. Not to mention another old wives tale I heard. Which is if the child you already have becomes very clingy then it's the opposite sex and if they don't it's the same sex. I can't keep Koco off of me. He climbs on me all day, wants hugs and kisses all the time, and now wants me to rock him to sleep. Do you guys care to wager a guess?

Don't you just love how they start ignoring you at such a young age. Here Koco has discovered a new past time watching tv game shows from his favaorite "chair". He's in to all the classics The price is right, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopary but for some reason keeps shutting off the tv when Deal or no Deal comes on. I kinda like the show but I think it has something to do with Howie. That or he's trying to stop daddy from looking at all those half dressed girls. I've tried to raise him well, if that's what your up to, Good Boy.

Our Annual Trip!

.
This past Sunday was our annual trip to
Edward's Apple Orchard
First we took the tractor to pick some apples
Koco liked the ride
Grandma tried to help him but...
being the independent spirit he is...
he wanted to do it himself
When we came out of the orchard Koco met his first horse Pumpkin
Then he fed himself and the goats some goat food
Before he escaped from daddy yet again
Don't we make a handsome couple?
